It's probably the BBC filming scenes for their new drama 'The Game'

The lady at the Moseley Street Cafe in Digbeth (who deliver our sandwiches) told us they would be closed tomorrow (Monday) as the BBC were doing some filming there.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

They were filming on Newhall Street

The Routemaster was Aston Manors RM506. I was watching the filming from Edmund Street. It was an explosion scene, the bus and cars drove along the road, then there was a big bang.

It also caused quite a tailback down Colmore Row, as they stopped the Traffic from entering the top of Newhall Street while they were filming so no modern traffic was in shot

And they are filming again today
