the City Council has indicated that it will not permit any Metro works to take place between the Bull St/Corporation St junction through Corporation St to Stephenson St during November/December due to increased numbers of shoppers in the area in the run up to Christmas and because of the German Market. Apparently still considering whether works can continue in Bull St.
Not exactly going to facilitate progress if true but presumably Balfour Beatty knew and built the delay into their work schedule. Taking new year into account sounds like very little progress between end of October and early January 2014.
Any one able to confirm?
