Please help me out here - extend the 241 to Birmingham, how?

Some people seem to be struggling with geography (even with the help of a basic map), how exactly should the 241 be extended to Birmingham to 'help out' the 140 without

a) renumbering the 241 to 140
b) losing the link from Halesowen to Rowley Village/Springfield
c) reducing the frequency of buses from Dudley to Blackheath/Quinton Stag
