Greenline is to start back in Luton Airport after an apparent court case which affects NX. Will post judgment etc later

No wonder Arriva were so keen to contest the awarding of the 7 year concession to NX. The 755 & 757 Greenline routes turned over £7.455 Million & made a profit of £3.409 Million a 46% profit margin. That profit accounted for 32% of the entire profits earned at Arriva The Shires

The exclusive 7 year concession NX won on tender is now effectively worthless, apparently NX had agreed to pay £1.4 million in year one & £2.1 million by the final year. No doubt these premium payments to Luton Airport will now be re-negotiated.

I understand from a post elsewhere that Arriva are also ordering/have ordered a new fleet of coaches as well
