Saw this utter disgrace leaving Lichfield bus station today, it's got to be nearly 15 months old, Arriva you should be ashamed, buy Cannock new buses!

and what about the rest of the fleet still getting cascaded crap from elsewhere 15 yr old dennis darts look at Tamorth and Telford fleet is great and get new buses on a regular basis and if rumour becomes true the bus in your picture will be Staffords (as it would not be an outstation)

I may grumble but yes cannock have some new buses but they are for or supposed to be for a couple of routes a lot of the fleet is still dennis slf darts of at least 10yrs old and some VDL SB120 and 200 which are a little better but have seen hard use elsewhere and just been refurbed (not mechanically) the oldest bus In tamworths fleet is like bob said an 08 plate 5 years old and have had brand new Mercs so more investment there and scanias and volvos before that all pretty recent, shrewsbury new optares and telford new optares and VDL buses, oswestry have a young fleet all what cannock get is dribs and drabs of some new stuff for certain routes do you really call that investment and now with Midland joining the fold (possibly) more wrecks to go Cannocks way if Arriva want to make a go of the West Midlands so investment diverted elsewhere.  Either invest or just sell off or use as a group overhall department as they do have good facilities to repair buses even though they can't.
