midland dennis tridents with route branding

Noticed that one of the dennis tridents had route branding yesterday. Sadly didnt manage to see what route but it was on a 10 service. How come they are branding buses when they dont even know of they can continue yet?

4851/4 have advertising for ticketing on service 10.

The ticketing arrangement on the 10 is still the same as previously, so it makes no odds either way.
