7019 and 7020 sound the same as 1909-1953 to me. Having said that, they are all part of the same batch split 45/15 between West Midlands and Dundee.

At Perry Barr, they are all from previous batches, so they might sound different because of the build, or the specification might be slightly different, or it just could be that they are newer compared to the 4 and a half year old 1788-1847 batch.

Unsurprisingly individual garage engineer managers are not keen to allow vehicles that are reliable and don't dent their department budgets to be transfered out. so it will be a few years before Pensnett sees any. Other than the time it takes for the doors to close and allow the vehicle to move off I haven't heard anyone say a bad thing about them (passengers aside).

The only thing I've seen quoted in Dundee about the Omnilinks is that they are a bit thirsty on the old diesel, don't know how true that is?
