I wasn't sure how to title this thread. More of an anorachy topic. But I keep a fleetbook listing what vehicles I've been on. My lists are most accurate but it got me thinking about how other people record things like this if they do and how?

I do the same Ashley. Have done for a few years now. I put the fleetnumbers in my phone when I am out of the buses I travel on and put them onto Excel when I get home. I used to do it in a book but it got messy and too full after a while!

I do exactly the same. I think for younger people in particular this can be a lot easier way of recording whilst on the move and also a lot more discret, for example when getting the full college bus home and chatting with friends it is easier just to slip the number in your phone, than to get a notebook out (unless you can remember the fleet numbers).

By recording them on Excel, it is also a lot easier to search for what buses you've travelled on, or to group them into Vehicle Type, service number order or Date order etc.

I make list of buses that I need to photo on Excel split into garages, and then bus type. I then print them off and stick them in a notebook. I used to have 2 pieces of paper in my back pocket but now find that a little book in my bag is a lot better! I then update these lists every month with garage transfers and repaints as they occur.

Record them on my phone and transfer to Excel. Also have a list of fleet numbers I need to travel on on my iPod.

i only need a few E400H now and i have rode All of the WN hybrids.

i think i've rode all of WN B7RLE's at some point aswell.

I put fleetnumbers of the buses I go on that day or week in my phone then update my book as and when, iv also got a pocket sized notebook for NXWM vehicles which I need to travel onm

As for batches

As of yesterday I finally got all of 4718 to 4776, done all PE and CV enviros, all WN buses, nearly all the mercs, most B6s, struggling with B7TLs though at the moment but doing good for tridents, avoiding the omnilinks still

Yes I can remember them all usually too but I write them down in case a number switches round somewhere in my head (which happens occasionally)

That's a better idea  :), I might begin to conquer other garages after I've completed Coventry  ;)
