I think that there might be one in the next few months following the end of the current support package.

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

I believe there will be a whole raft of network changes from 1st January 2025, unless the next incoming government can provide new support funding streams.

The days of the travelling public being consulted on such changes are long gone now.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

If in theory move to the franchise won't consultations happen like like when TfL ,make amendments.

Franchising isn't happening for another couple of years.

"Public consultations" now are just a box-ticking exercise - decisions have already been made in the background, and any such consultation is designed or weighted to ensure the public approve it, just to give some semblance of democracy.

Why bother asking the public to have their say, when you just need loads of data that can be crunched by AI?

If you want a new route doing, time to go travel the route multiple times every day so show the AI that a route between those points is needed!
