Wonder if it is worth trying again next Friday but perhaps it could turn up? You never know Flexibus may read this forum - like Simon does so well with Diamond?

Have to agree the 218 is an odd offering. Coming from Binley Woods it could be better using the more frequent SC 86 Rugby - Coventry to Morrisons especially if the 218 no longer serves Tesco's.

The 218 is an interesting cross border operation on quite a short route.

Happened to be at Morrisons yesterday and saw the Fridays only 218 arrive right at the front entrance of the store. Destination blind had the correct route no and Tesco's clearly showing (not Wyken Green). After the passengers got off the blind was changed to 'Out of Service' and the bus went to the back of the car park and parked up. Presumably waited there for the return trip

So for the Binley Woods passengers it is a great short trip direct into Morrisons and serves a useful purpose. No crossing the busy Brandon Road and long walk across the busy car park if it stopped at the normal route bus stop. Has become more like a Warwickshire version of TfWM's On Demand transport

On the down side most of the timetabled bus stops with the TfWM patch do not seem to be served. No mention in the TfWM TT that the service may turn around short. Wonder if anyone doing a one way journey from Tesco's back to Binley Woods with shopping bags has been left stranded?

Also Morrisons car park is a bit tight even for Optares.

Perhaps Morrisons should fund the 218 instead of Warks? TfWM could then remove the TT from their bus stops and flags that seem to be no longer served? Perhaps also increase the frequency to 5 days a week?

Took a trip on the 514 from Solihull to Leamington today.
