I think if NX were considering re-entering London, they should have/would have acquired First London when that was up for grabs, that op was much bigger than the Travel London (Abellio) business they sold in 2009 and would have given them the scale they never had previously. There was no mention in any of the First disposal rumours / acquisition scenario's of NX being interested in London.

Fares in London are governed by TFL, so they would be what is charged all over London, plus there would be no option to pay cash fares.
