I'd imagine that those hours are busy working hours, so I'd very much doubt it.

Miller Street is also quite a dangerous place for unescorted guests as well due various vehicle parts being stored on the floor and vehicles with parts removed.

This is what I was told yesterday. It was an Eastern European security guard.

Basically he is saying I cannot let you in come back and ask when National Express staff and see if they will, but no you will not be allowed to wander around unaccompanied

The guy is covering his a**e , to coin a phrase. Over many years of visiting depots from large "pte" garages to "one coach operators", I reckon my buddies and I heard almost every reason for not being given permission - always accepted gracefully I might add. "The boss is not here", followed a few weeks later at the same depot, "The boss is on site".  8)

When I was a regular garage visitor in the 1970s and 1980 with the right approach you were very rarely refused, but a classic 'no' I always remembered was as London Transport Brixton garage one sunday morning. "I can't let you around because we park the buses to close and you won't be able to get between them"

If you want a pic of Brixton buses these days, go there in the middle of the night. There are buses parked everywhere, all down Stratham Hill, in bus stops, in fact anywhere that there is space, they are parked.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
