I can think of the Tracline Metrobuses plus 2791 which was based at Walsall too.

Was there anything earlier?

Mk1 Metrobus 2102 also had an electronic display, a bit different to the other on the Traclines and 2791

If I'm correct the Ailsas and 6890 had electronic (Flip) numbers only.

Fleetine 6956 had an electronic display inside after it was converted to single deck 1956.
