Marshall's of Nottinghamshire have this interactive map on their website  http://www.fleetmatics-uk.com/mapping/FleetTrack_View_GV3.asp

TFL have route by route interactive maps available too.  Will we ever see something similar in the West Midlands?  Or is there one hidden somewhere?

You have to click on the link from their website, otherwise it asks for a username and password to log in.
The link on the website is http://www.fleetmatics-uk.com/live.asp?n=701C_f4sh

Whether we'll ever see anything similar in the West Midlands depends on the software the bus operator uses to track their vehicles. And whether that software will allow for publicly visible information without compromising on company confidentiality etc.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Centro have one that shows operators that have the correct equipment but do not make it public
