Scania deckers

Does anybody know why NXWM only ordered 5 omnicities and just decided not to get more?

These deckers look good IMO, how do these vehicles drive compared to other deckers? I've driven a branded omnilink a couple of times on the 88E service a few times passengers that were well impressed by it, posh bus etc etc, I wasn't  bowled over by them . Does seem very strange there are only five of them. Are the engines mounted transversely or inline ?
