Not before time. Tamworth garage used to rake cash in off these. Most Bank Holidays there were 7 or 8 of us out there at any one time with full deckers.

Tamworth used to have success with all their X7# numbered routes under Midland red north,  but Arriva seemed incapable of running them and let them wither away to nothing

I would say part of that is to do with worsening traffic conditions making them less attractive for commuters to use.

Saturday PVR is already very high, whereas Sundays there are plenty of vehicles.

Has anybody seen which vehicles have been used on the X76?

A Gemini was on a few weeks ago.

Saw one Gemini a few weeks ago in Brum, looked about half full. Surprised me because other than on here I hadn't seen or heard anything advertising it.

What also surprised me was where I saw it... coming out the tunnel under the bullring onto Moor St. Thought if anything it'd follow the same routing through the city centre as the 110/116 but just checking on the nwm timetables page it does a full loop of the Queensway!
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Isnt that just normal?  Ie that it just funs for a few weeks each year.  Or is it being withdrawn due to poor usage

Stu

Seems a bit early in the summer to be finishing it 'naturally', would have thought they'd at least have kept it until after the August Bank Holiday weekend.
