The only reason refurbs are suspended is because we are running over 105% of service, so cannot afford to have buses of the road for a month

Thanks - makes sense - and I guess also why despite new vehicles older ones are retained to keep the levels up.

Yes, to run the normal service we need approximately 1500 buses on the road (That's not PVR). At the moment it is around 1570 plus the coaches that are helping out on schools as well

Refurbs are temporarily suspended at the moment. The spray booth has been playing up and more buses are needed for service.

Any idea of whether the fault has been fixed yet?
