Stuharris 6360

Rode on 1702 on the WB42 today, sounded like a tank, so noisy and rattling like a good one.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Walsall will probably get them.

They finished off the Lynxes, didnt they!

I doubt it, not with the bulk of them currently being at PE and WA not having any currently

I can see PE keeping them till the end, although at the moment i can't see what will replace them.

Well evidently it'll be Volvo B7RLE's surely? Prefer 0405N's but like the metros they don't last.

The Metros do last! If they hadn't been scrapped en masse, who knows how many would still be going today? The ones at Green Bus are a prime example. I doubt many of the Tridents will still be going so strong at age 25

Hahaha, you nutters! You misunderstood me. I meant they didn't carry on in service with NXWM.

You lot wouldn't hear a bad word against those buses will ya? Hahhaa

Ever seen a low floor one? I have, a few years ago. It was one of them student engineering aprentice group things, anyway, the task was to convert the Metro to low floor. I didn't think the engine turned over so thats why they used it as a practice thing. Anyway, it was quite a slope they had, and funky seating arrangements. It looked good though. I'm sure the thing has gone for scrap now anyway, and I had really no interest back in those days regarding fleet numbers and the like. I guess it would've cost too much to convert the whole NX fleet anyway. Not sure how they overcame the axle issue... wish I went into engineering.
