avl controller

So im really excited about gaining an interview for an auto vehicle location controller baded at the new command centre in bordesley! Im just wondering if drivers have any advice for me on what they expect of avl controllers and anyone who work as a traffic controller if they have any advice?

Don't turn into one of those arrogant b*stards that do the job now. Don't think you know what you're doing when drivers have been on the job longer then you've been alive, probably.

£12-odd an hour for AVL controllers , yet new drivers are on £8.96

Makes me sick. What does AVL do that deserves more pay then drivers? I bet good money they don't get death threats and assults etc

Give proper adjustments also.

Are you a driver, then? They usually ask for people with the licence.
