Similar thread to the one that Matt posted. Which Volvo B7TL gearbox do you prefer? ZF or Voith? To avoid confusion, all NXWM ALX 400 bodied Volvo B7TL are Voith, and all NXWM Wright Eclipse Gemini are ZF. Also all NXC ALX 400 bodied Volvo B7TL are ZF and all NXC Wright Eclipse Gemini are Voith

Yet again no preference with NXWM, however I prefer ZF on the whole

I prefer the Voith B7TL but I prefer the Plaxton President Body so I'm out of luck there, I am a fan of Coventrys Gemini's though! Tbh I like both B7TL, I don't dislike the ZF, infact I like it a lot too, I just happen to slightly prefer the voith version!

It has to be the Voith ALX400's for me, purely because of their sound, they might not be the fastest of buses but I love their distinctive whining sound, particularly the "up-down" noise some make when ticking over

Voiths are more smother, ZF's sound nice but are to jerky at times

Voith just edges it for me. Although 4638 is the best B7TL
