Affecting mainly Northern / Eastern Birmingham, plus into Staffordshire / Walsall as well!

Steve3229vp

Sutton's X3/4/5 reduced to every 10 mins and 997 reduced to every 15 mins

Westy

X51 Cannock section reduced to half hourly 7 days a week!

Jack

Are these just Summer timetables or permanent? Not very happy about the 997 and I'm sure many others won't be happy with the Cannock X51 going half hourly!

Some changes will be 'early summer timetables', with the 'full' summer timetables being introduced from 24th July.

While passenger numbers are improving, they are still down compared to pre-Covid times.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

A recent TFWM document seems to suggest up to 60 services could be removed from the network including school routes as passenger numbers are down pre covid. And cuts could also be made to less frequent routes if you look at 2.24 page 6.

Yes, I saw that recent meeting report, and intend to write an article on my website in the next few days.

If WB garage is looking at routes perhaps merging the 40/47 and do it as a circle with NX clockwise and DIA anticlockwise as part of West Midlands Bus with 4 buses per hour in both directions.

Do you really think NX would invite another operator on to a currently exclusive route?

I could see cross town services in West Brom, one I've always thought would be to merge the 47 and 49 into one service...

I'm surprised the WN 11 hasn't been merged into a cross city service either, a very short service.

The WN11 (511) used to be... it used to go to Warstones at one stage (same with the 512 cross city iirc)
