E301 finally entered service last night after complications fitting the radio, so PB now has a full allocation of the planned 116 buses

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on Yesterday at 09:58:49 PMThe MCV Volvo's would seem a solid option but probably would be E200's to match his Fleet plus none of the routes mentioned scream Heavyweight Bus

MCV do offer a 10.8m eVoRa, but still more of a 'heavyweight' bus compared to an E200. I agree that keeping a standardised fleet would have it's benefits, but you also run the risk of the whole fleet being grounded, should an issue arise.

Quote from: EK40 on Yesterday at 09:06:12 PMthe one in the photo is ex-CT4N BYD K9UR LJ16 NNB, id presume they are pretty low milage since they were used on the very short east mids airport gateway shuttles, CT4N also have LJ16 NNC but they appear to have kept that one for local services.

they were replaced by brand new yutong E12s earlier in the year and didnt see further use so i presume thats why they were sold.
If the bus is 8 years old isn't that about the expected life of the batteries?
