Are the WMCA sorting out a new site for Dudley operations, because I'd be very surprised whoever, if not Nx, that eventually does the routes around there, would be prepared to operate under such restrictions.

(In fact, it's only in the last few years, Nx has been able to operate buses out of Pensnett on Boxing Day hasnt it, because it couldn't be accessed, services being operated from elsewhere. I'm sure 'someone' will correct me if I'm wrong?)

In fact, with all the hills in Dudley, I'd be interested to see how electric vehicles cope?

Those of you with Malcolm Keeley's book, will remember a bit about some Daimler engined Fleetlines being swopped with Gardner engined ones, due to the fuel consumption.

Rode 3301 my first time on a StreetDeck on the 37,
Sat upstairs, Legroom was decent, Lighting was good, wasn't sure what to expect of these StreetDecks, Engine was smooth apart from maybe a bit of a struggle maybe it was a car in front as we went up the Walsall Road Pleck Railway Bridge, No rattles, bit of Viberations when on idle. Not sure what transmission these are but It had a noise howl, whine almost like an old Volvo, Brakes were smooth, Staircase seems a bit narrow but overall the StreetDecks seem Very nice Buses, I could picture these being perfectly comfy on the Birmingham Routes.

Voith I believe @BlackCountryBusSpotter, have rode 3304 when still based at Pensnett on a 140 I believe nice buses TBH

What's the hold up on yardley wood electrics? They been sitting in storage for a while now havent they

You seem to have E325 down twice on the PB list @Tony 

6844 on the X13 this morning around 11:45ish decided at the Priory Queensway lights outbound to not want to go into gear. An electric on the 33 drove off but we stayed there as the driver tried to get her to go into gear. After turning her off and much revving and gear selecting 6844 finally went into gear and we went on our way.

Saw a 95 to Bucklands End on Thursday 9:15 ish I think by Aston Church Road lights with a full 94 and 95 cannot remember the fleet number

Just seen a Volvo Olympian and a Leyland national midland red buses down stock field road, thought they all were scrapped but pleasantly surprised they haven't been yet.

looks like Washwood heath Road between Drews Lane and Aston Church Road will be closed from 23rd until 5th October I think between 9pm and 6 am.

NX/TWM had two open top buses for private hire (2028/2938??)and did very little work (arguably 2028 was a bag of nails). Any company that has specialist assets needs to make them work - a bus stood still is a bus not earning, which is next to useless, unless you move into niche private hire work (like Green BUs did with their convertible open topper).

It was 2939 that became the open top Mk2 Metrobus @Wumpty as I believe 2938 has been preserved complete with roof
