The majority is leased so it'll be returned to whoever owns them, as for any that they do own, they will probably be sold to recoup some money to pay off the debt.

Until the end of 2016, the only vehicless owned were the four Tay Road Solo SRs and the 52 plate MPD.

Can't say too much on open forum for obvious reasons but I know a little of the challenges that the "current" management team at ATG have been facing over these past 18 months or so and I know how bitterly disappointed & emotionally upset they are that it has ended. There is one individual I know reads this forum whom I have had a lot of contact with in various meetings etc & I should like to say publicly you, your input on various things & your opinions will be sorely missed & I personally shall miss you & all you stood for. Good luck in your future & to all those at igo atg ring & ride good luck to you all I hope you all have successful futures and wherever you all end up you will be an asset to that business.

It truly is an end of an era.

Times change and sadly sometimes business don't. All are led from the top and if the top doesn't listen to those with years in the industry then the outcome won't be good.

There are people who put their heart and soul into ATG (and companies) and were passionate about what they did - not just for the business but for their customers too.

I'm sure that Ring and Ride will continue in some form or another.  However, I'm sad to see the igo brand disappear from the streets of the West Midlands.

Not safe yet.

That reads to me as though it's been thrown a lifeline of funding to prevent collapse/keep operating, it will give the administrators/stake holders more time to find a long term solution.

I agree. I presume that money won't fund igo services either. If they're paid for by TfWM in the first place then surely they won't receive more funding from BCC.

At least one route was in operation. I was given a timetable for a (non school run) centro 6xx tendered route running in the Selly Oak area around 1994ish give or take a year. I went looking for it one day, one trip failed to show, the next was late. My centro pass was refused too...

Are you sure that wasn't the 614 operated by Communicare?

Can charities go into administration?

If the pot of money is empty then yes. There's only so much they get from WMCA for Ring and Ride which has been reducing over the past few years. Same goes for home to school contracts for education authorities. Overheads however go up every year, insurance, maintenance, staff costs, fuel etc.

If you've not got round to riding one of our deckers, there's a free trip to Welshpool on Sunday 20th March.  Find out more here:  http://igobuses.com/news/welshpool.html

No, I haven't had one off them since the last update, I will try another request

We are in the process of compiling a comprehensive fleet list. I will advise when this is ready.
