Arriva's buses contracting for Movia in Copenhagen, Denmark have their drivers listening to radio in the driver's cabin and it automatically shuts off whenever the driver opens the door. Pretty interesting concept for driver's welfare actually. If listening to radio while driving a car or a truck is possible, I don't see whats wrong with the same thing on a bus too.

Are there any plans for any of the mercs to be acquired for restoration? Would be a shame to see these great buses marching off into the history books!

Hi,

I have come across this photo of a Midland Red 4940 on service 154, from solihull via shirley.

May I know whats the history behind the route and what route is this 154 today if it has been renumbered?

Thanks

Thanks 'trainbasher', wasn't aware of the timings publicised.
Here's my double-decker shots, which rounds up my contribution for these 2 buses  :)

Passing under the Selly Oak Bridge, along Bristol Road. A pity my shutter was too fast for the EDS to show up properly :(

Running on 144 back to Worcester

Does anybody know the whereabouts of the heritage livery of the Double decker version? Is it permanent on the 144?

Was this about 2.10pm yesterday as I was driving the bus behind 67601 and saw somebody taking photos?

Here you go, driving the Transbus E300 with a Streetlite behind you:

Decided to take a ride into Worcester to find the 2 heritage livery buses yesterday. After a short period of camping I managed to catch the single deck version  :)

Entering Worcester after finishing a 144 run from Birmingham

Rear view of the bus entering the pick-up berth

Cheers and enjoy.

Hi everyone,

Just a short intro for i do not know anybody here yet. I'm Desmond, from Singapore and I now study in the University of Birmingham. I found the fleetlist to be of a great help to familiarise myself with the nxwm fleet and hence stumbled upon this forum.

I love the buses here and am enjoying my time spotting and photographing them. I used to have a fotopic account years ago for all my singapore and hongkong bus photos but as you'd know the fate of fotopic...

Am currently rebuilding another flickr account soon...

Thanks for reading. Will be heading to the Aston Manor bus rally tmr too :D
