If Bustimes is correct, then Coventry have no fewer than 4 Tridents in service today, which I think is pretty rare for a Sunday, especially with the influx of electrics. Can anyone confirm? Many thanks

Hi all

I note that PB Gemini 4479 is reported withdrawn...any idea what happened? RTA/ fire? Apologies if already answered elsewhere.

19 total years of West Mids bendi operation closes if you include the 1999 start for the Perry Barr ones. Some kind of record for an operator maybe?

Also, was 6021 the very last Mercedes bus in service for NX in the Midlands ? There have been Merc products on the road continuously since 1997 with the Minibuses and then 0405Ns etc. Not from today.

Hi there, apologies if I've missed this but has anyone got a photo of the new tickets? Cheers Craig

Evening all
Having recently bought a roll of old Autofare WM Travel tickets on eBay, I started thinking about when the last bus in the WMT fleet was converted to Wayfarer. I think by 1990, possibly early 1991, the Autofare machines were all gone. I know the Lynxes and Mk2a Metrobuses were all delivered with Autofares.
Also, I remember Perry Barr having Wayfarers much earlier than the rest of the garages, presumably it was trialled there before full rollout. Even the Ailsas had these tickets and they were gone by 1987.
Any thoughts or clarifications much appreciated.
Cheers

6456 also seems to have made it into silver.

Hi all
Apologies if this topic has been covered already...I've been thinking about P and R reg fleetlines that lasted long enough to be painted in WMT silver. Think I'm right in saying that none of the 63xx (KON xxxP) batch made it, and only a handful of 64xx and 65xx. The lowest fleetnumber in silver by reckoning is 6443 ( excluding 4069 of course).  Thanks

Hi all
Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed...I gather the earliest 0405N buses 1515-22? were bodied by UVG, they look the same as the rest to me, but are there any subtle differences?
Cheers Craig

Cheers Gareth, a 20 yr old mystery that was bugging me solved! I'll enjoy going back through the photos to spot those.

Hi all

Can anyone tell me just what was the difference between MCW and Park Royal bodies on the fleetlines in the 6301-6800/6866-7000 batches? I've seen so many photos and can never see anything to differentiate between them!

Any info much appreciated
Cheers
Craig ;-)
