All the additional costs, such as wages and accomodation, would have been factored into the price that NX quoted for doing the contract.

To being this back to the buses: 5402, 5406, 5412, 5414, 5415, 5416, 5417 and 5421 were all noted looking gleaming in Crimson through the fence of Dock Street this morning

Dundee had a decent batch of new B7RLE's in 2011, another 6 in 2012 & the 9 x E400H in 2013. It's just been 2014 & 2015 where little or nothing has been delivered new, it's Dundee's double decker fleet that is getting pretty old & in need of new investment

The 2011/2 batch of B7RLE's decent? Have u tried travelling on them fully loaded at peak time??  Or at all? Or spoke to the steering wheel attendants who are subjected to them? Even the Omnilumps were better, although I'm not sure the Scania dealer in Dundee would agree.

The 9 ADL E40H's were obtained through the Scottish equuvilant of the green bus fund

Just find it strange that Dundee get the best all the time, in the past why send the WA B7RLe's, surely the Omnilinks would have been better to send?

Your having a giraffe. Dundee gets cast offs from down the M6, nothing new (the recent lampposts are exceptions) or decent comes our way. The travelling public of Xplore Dundee are treated as second rate citizens, if the bus turns up in the first place!

1774 is on the 11A (Dundee one) today - don't suppose it ever appeared on the Birmingham one?

Possible two contractors will be used to speed things up

Ferrymill Motors at Torrance may be the other

BusTec at Bellshill usually paint the buses for NED.

2058 is currently in prep for a paint too.

I think the current fleet should look like this:

National Express Dundee Fleet
321; 731-734; 2030-2058; 4025-4026/4028/4036/4045-4046/4074/4103/4110-4112/4115-4124; 4680-4686; 5422-5430; 7001-7018; 7067; 7129/7147/7153/7155/7157
7159-7161/7165-7167/7169-7170/7172-7174/7176/7179; 7323; 7345; 7423-Crew Bus

Trainer at NX Dundee
1366/7151/7419

Withdrawn at NX Dundee
322/7127-7128/7175/7344

(to come: new 431-435 & from NXWM 1774-1787)

I suppose it would have been possible to eradicate further, the 7xxx number series, by renumbering Gemini's 7001-18 (4782-99, a batch of eighteen fleet numbers was 'free' until 4816 became 4799 in 2013). The Dundee fleet has a more 'NX West Midlands' look about it these days.

0321 and 7153 have been withdrawn (since yesterday).

7419 was scrapped in June.
