WN 2024 still doesn't track all of the time and if it does track then its only intermittent. It's been like this for years

The tracking for National Express buses has been proper glitchy over the last few days. Regularly only updating every 7 or 8 minutes and then it's dropped off altogether on a few occasions. Anyone know why this is happening?

No buses tracking on Wolverhampton routes 32 and 33 this morning

WN 2003 on the No.32 today

The bus is currently tracking in the sea just off the south coast of Bournemouth .......

No idea if there's any point in putting this on here but the tracker on YX11 CTV isn't working

There's a lot of B7RLE's where the window/windows by the disabled seat seem to be loose. They make a heck of a noise which can be pretty uncomfortable

Don't know what they're like in other garages but im referring to a number of B7RLE's at Wolverhampton garage

Quote from: Stu on May 15, 2025, 04:56:27 PMChaserider already operate the 5 on Sundays. A cursory glance on BusTimes history suggests they seem to manage without issues.

They're changing the route from tomorrow. The route will now go past Molinuex Stadium and then down Dunstall Rd which will add 2-3 minutes on to the route

Plus they're changing the route through the city centre will will also add time on

I've used the 5 for years and NX couldn't keep time on this route so the solution was to run a circuit with the No.10

If the 5 timetable works on Sundays with these route changes then I'll apologise :)

Quote from: Bob on May 15, 2025, 01:54:49 PMI hope Chaserider run the 5 better than their other services. The 74/828 circuit has had 4 or 5 breakdowns today, missing buses and totally unsuitable stuff like Solos and that knackered 30 seat two door E200. New buses for them cant come soon enough! Imagine relying on it for work
Wouldn't bank on it. They're running the 5 on a circuit with the 70/71 which has its fair share of Solos on the route

Sunday timetable will most likely be a struggle. NX used to try and do Codsall and back in an hour and they couldn't manage it

The evening service by Chaserider are subsidised by the council. The whole route will be subsidised from 16th May. I don't fully understand why Banga are dropping it to be honest - it's normally full whenever I have been on the route. It's normally full of pensioners though so I'm not sure how much money Banga would make from it

I was speaking to one of the Chaserider drivers and he thinks that the 70 will change to a 5 and the 5 to a 70 throughout the day as its the reason that the 70 is going to start using the bus station. Don't know that for definite though

Glad they've taken over the route from Banga. However - based on National Express trying it years ago, the evening service and Sunday service won't keep time now it's going around Dunstall. 30mins is too tight especially with the Sunday timetable unless they're planning on using 2 buses which I doubt
