Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on January 20, 2025, 06:46:50 PMBy the 74 stops so in the bus Station U-Turns aren't allowed but outside the bus station if it wasn't allowed I'm sure WMP would have a word
Yeah you are right both ends of the bus station there is no U turn signs displayed clearly. However this hasn't stopped anything as i have saw National Express do a U turn there before one driver did it with a Scania before came out the end where the 74 stops towards Dudley and then went onto the 3 stand, this was some time ago about that one but the most common one was when they had the west Brom 54 and 54A they used to do it a lot with the little E200s

Travel Telford brands are strange, they have them branded but keep using solos or solo SRs on some of the routes, 538 seems to rarely go on Telford routes these days, putting euro 6 buses to waste really, i know they don't like using them over walsall but putting a euro 6 bus on the pye green when it don't need to be euro 6 is a waste really.

Services 4 and 4H on on diversion due to a road closure in stone cross, walsall road is closed to buses are diverting in both ways towards walsall and towards west Bromwich, the diversion is left at Lyndhurst road, left onto holyhedge Road continue onto bustlehome lane, left onto jervoice lane and right onto walsall road then normal line of route and reverse towards west Bromwich but more simpler.

Quote from: frostjay974 on March 05, 2025, 09:33:25 AM20161 still shows the bus as stopping after alighting when no one has pressed the bell.
You may sometimes find especially with the streetlites that if the door don't fully open then it wont clear the stopping light and the stopping bell sign on the dash.

Quote from: the trainbasher on March 01, 2025, 04:43:00 PMI'm surprised that hasn't been put into the same livery as the electric MANs
That was just a thing for the MANs I don't think they will be continuing that livery for the future.

Quote from: Tony on February 28, 2025, 09:09:05 AMYes, 4605 suffered an engine failure 4604 suffered a gearbox failure, so one good bus was made from the 2
Ah yeah makes sense really they are like 20 year old buses rather than withdrawing 2 vehicles better to use one as a "donor". Assuming gearboxes are a simpler job to do and fit than an engine then.

Quote from: Stu on February 27, 2025, 04:52:43 PM1845 is very much alive and well - I would assume, from looking at BusTimes, that it got trapped near the scene of the incident, but it seems they managed to turn it round and its diverting round to Bilston bus station to resume on the 34.
Yeah I apologise for getting number wrong.

Quote from: WA4317 on February 27, 2025, 04:33:20 PMWrong bus, too many people referring to bustimes as per because stuff gets posted on FB. It was actually a no tracker
I saw it with my eyes the fire however didn't see the number so I apologies for getting fleet number wrong, I did look at bus times when I finished driving.

I assume being as the Scanias are slowly being withdrawn that 1845 will now be finished from what I've just saw passing through bilston. This to me looked like arson as wasn't exactly coming from the engine bay but was at the back of the bus.
