QuoteTwo more DF Streetlite 10.8m Euro 5 Cummins engined acquisitions from Close Finance:

32239 SK19EYL
32262 SK19EYO

These will likely go to Redditch depot for the new 540 service Evesham - Tewksbury

One is being collected today.

Also due to be collected later this week are the first 2 Illesbus City's for an expansion of Worcester CC DRT:

15004 BF24KSF
15005 BL24VGP

These will be in allover white & could see service elsewhere initially.
Any clue on when the streetlites are and if they are at redditch yet? Have a bit of free time and wouldn't mind trying to hunt them.

QuoteRedditch depot doesn't have enough vehicles to operate the 3 additional PVR.  We are currently looking to acquire a few.  Most of the depot is now Streetlite, so I would imagine these will end up on the route at some point.
Any clue when these vehicles will be in service?

Thanks

32259 Still has yellow buses stickers on the inside, and 30169 and 30170 still have yourbus stickers.

QuoteWell the A15 is ran from Redditch and those E200's are at Tividale.
We had one of them on loan for a bit, can't remeber of the top of my head which one it was though. Never ended up on any solihull services though.

Hello Simon,

Well done for winning the contract for 540 Evesham - Tewkesbury. Can you give any idea as to what vehicles will be on this, and if any vehicles will be transferred / bought for this contract. Thank you.

Can you please tell whoever allocates buses that 247 7:50 to redditch shouldn't have single deckers. Both of the other vehicles on the route are double decker so why does the busiest working have single deckers.

It used to have double deckers and there would be standees so single deckers are just stupid.

Thanks

Does anyone know why i saw BU14 SZF at bidford on avon high street this morning. I cant think of a route it would have been on as 247 and 247s both had double decker gemini's. It wasnt tracking on bustimes or any bus tracker either.

According to bustimes, apparently BU08 DCE is back on the track. Can anyone confirm this?

Hey, i was on mx57 upw the other day on the 62, (saturday on the 11:02 service i believe) and as we got to morrisons (i think that was the store) there was quite a noticeable amount of smoke coming out the rear row of seats and the wheel arch. The driver who was driving called up support and was told to drive on. Surely this cant be good for the bus, and is not a very good procedure. Obviously i dont run a bus company so i cant comment but these just my thoughts.

Probably would have cost more money to do that, the bus is still theoretically psvar and can go out on service. I dont know if diamond converted it to single door, but if they did diamond arent quite known to spend extra money on things.

QuoteMust admit I'm intrigued by a presumbly recent transfer into Tividale.

It's a E200 with Arriva interior, currently on 31/32's, but the wheelchair section is about halfway down the bus!

Wouldn't this cause a problem if the bus is up to capacity & lots of standing passengers?
I take it you are talking about one of the 37000 E200's.

The wheelchair section is halfway down the bus due to it previously being from arriva london and dual door as the wheelchair ramp would have been on the middle door.

Obviously your point still remains and i have no clue how it will work.

X20 Stratford - all the way to birmingham again. Would help me in so many days and i would probably ride the bus to work. Now it goes only to solihull though and i would have to change buses.

PS: also make johnsons excelbus run it again.
