4964 - It's got a full repaint and refurbishment but they did not bother giving it a much needed mechanical overhaul.  Still painful slow, jolty and has the emission light on. I still like the 49s though, they sound so satisfying

30409/30410/30411 all these b7s sound like they're dying they always are hitting the rev limiter

30410 sounds really nice, 30409 sounds like its about to explode and 30411 i didn't even know hits the rev limiter like the other 2 do

Yes I'm sure the average speed of the X1 is 12mph... More nonsense from one of Jeremy Vine's minions... We all know cyclists cause nothing but hazards and delays for buses, lorries and pedestrians. To this day I've not met one who could actually tell me what either Highway Code rules 64 or 71 say, let alone follow them! When you look at the amount of money wasted on these cycle routes which just sit empty, while they still use the road, and the absolute deathtraps waiting to happen that are "floating bus stops", over investing in dedicated busways, faster priority, bus gates and proper public transport interchanges, it's laughable and no wonder we are in this mess.

On Saturday I will be travelling to Lichfield getting the bus there is fine 12:00 8 to Lichfield, coming back 17:42 or 18:17 I know the 8 takes an hour is there any quicker Buses that I could get on that meet the number 8 does the 10 meet if so is there much difference. I would check Bustimes but I don't know if the Number 10 does meet the Number 8 at all.

4806: this thing is so sluggish and slow it took a while to get up to 30mph and it could barely get up any hills. It used to be fast but have a slipping gearbox, id rather that than what i got today

There seems to be several comments recently over the Hayley Green section reliability.

Has it got to be serviced by the 4 group of services, or can another route take over that section?

It seems to me that certain routes seem to be operated for operator conveinice rather than reliability.

Back in the Wmpte days, you had 2 routes, one between Walsall & West Bromwich & another between West Brom & Halesowen.

thats actually a good point, every time I get the 4H from Halesowen towards Walsall it empties out practically
