I see mentioned in this thread is 35101 is now in Leicester.. Andy Metcalfe confirms for Leicester too? Until Tony has the new Fleet list I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Be interesting to see if it stays in Leicester and if it gets electric conversion? Or could it just be here to cover for others off for conversion?
It apparently needs work doing before ready for use.

From what I can understand it's now going to be repaired at Leicester instead of going back to wrightbus. I do not think it's being transferred to the Leicester fleet. 

One of the E400s from Milton Keynes (4400) entered service today, on the 104. Nice to see a newer E400 in Leicester again! Wonder what they have been doing over the past month?

It was in service yesterday on service 49 tracking with the spare ticket machine. 

Aren't the electrics capable of doing a full days work, if so what is the point in buying them and if they can why aren't they ?

They are capable , not sure why arriva don't use them for the whole day. First use theirs until the end of the day. 

8008 BK73ADZ has been on the 49 all day. 

Isn't there a legal duty to inform DVA of colour a change ?

Yes they should have changed the colour on the V5C . There is a fine of £1,000 if it's not updated. 

69439-69441 WX59BYR/S/T have been transferred to First South Yorkshire. 

Volvo B7RLE 69438 WX59BYP and 69442 WX59BYU have been transferred to olive grove depot in Sheffield. 

40 seats (33 fixed seats and 7 tip up seats )

Disagree completely. Had 909 and 910 this week and they have horribly hard seats, not to mention the fact they sound like they're about about to fall apart. They also clearly haven't properly been cleaned in ages as the amount of dust coming off the seats is disgusting
580 and (especially) 729 are exactly the same. I've never sat on a bus with seats as uncomfortable as 729 had.

Centrebus have also not improved timings as they completely skipped the 06:24 yesterday morning and both the 06:34 and 06:44 were late. I also missed a bus in the afternoon because the driver clearly didn't know what a timetable was and left Charles Street early.

The change of the start to the route to the Ingarsby Drive stop is frankly idiotic. What is the point in having the proper off-road stop outside City of Leicester if buses are going to sit blocking the road for up to 10 minutes with their engines on.

Their drivers are also really unprofessional. I've had drivers failing to give way to other vehicles, being unnecessarily rude to passengers, using their phone while the engines on and driving on the wrong side of the road after taking a corner when the correct side of the road was completely clear.

While I accept that First wasn't perfect in any way, their buses were significantly better than Centrebus's and their drivers a lot more professional. The 22 has gone from a great route to a terrible one.

Everything I've listed here has happened after just a week of them operating the service. I can't imagine what else will happen over the next months of me using the route everyday.

It is really sad to see this happen to such a good bus service. Centrebus are clearly an unprofessional operator, I have found the drivers very rude and abusive and very unprofessional and sometimes on their phones with ear phones.  Drivers who are unable to drive a bus and are driven unsafely  and unable to run to a timetable . The buses used on this service are a  mix match of  of old dirty buses. Some buses on the route include very uncomfortable 09 reg double deckers and 07 reg single deckers.some are double decker to full size single deckers to 57 reg optare  versa.  The newest I've seen on the route is a 12 reg enviro 400. Some driver don't even wear a proper uniform and driving with trainers on . Centrebus have completely ruined this route. 

You are joking, aren't you? Have you not witnessed the daily, poor service delivery in vehicles running together, vehicles regularly running not in service and a general inability to deliver the timetable?

The one good thing about First, until the recent change of MD, was that they provided the best presented vehicles, both in internally and externally, by a long way. That's slipped since the departure of NE and vehicle allocation has also gone awry too. Shame.

I use this route everyday and find first bus run it very well to a high standard with nice clean double deckers .  On any high frequency route buses can sometimes run together due to delays etc. As  I use this service daily I feel first deliver to their timetable really well. I've not experienced buses running not in service except for when buses are full at school times and cannot take any more passengers. I do feel the service isn't as good as it used to be since First changed the timetable to coordinate with centrebus duplicate service 22, which means waiting 20 mins for a firstbus 22 service at certain times when centrebus operate their duplicate 22 service. Allocation is always good with 4 branded streetdecks running , one has recently been off the road and if others are off the road it is always operated with unbranded streetdecks. Sometimes streetlites do operate but this is due to vehicle availability as the depot doesn't  keep a lot of spares anymore and firstbus  always make sure the service operates.
