He may have been thinking of Travel Express (Lets Go) whose e200s certainly aren't the best maintained in my opinion. They were operating the 63/64/65 & 303 tenders until June .

I went through Manchester (on my way to Glasgow) on Tuesday. I barely saw any of the yellow buses. Have they not franchised the area that covers the city centre/airport yet?

Yes. The franchises have gone to Diamond North West and Metroline. The yellow buses for Metroline are currently in store, some in Cardiff I understand.

Due to the ending of roadworks on the route, Diamond service 229 will resume its previous timetable from 11th November. Service 229A & 230 will be withdrawn.

That's what the NXWM website says, but I don't believe it's that straightforward.

The NXC website says the £6 ticket is required to get to Rugby (remember this notice?), so I doubt that an NXC driver would accept a £5 ticket beyond the TfWM boundary on a Rugby service.  And if starting in Rugby, I reckon that only the £6 day ticket would be available to purchase.

If an NXC member of staff reading this can confirm what the situation is, that would be great.

I can only guess that NX expect hardly anyone from the NXWM area to want a day ticket to travel to Rugby.  I have done it two or three times, but not since NX Outer Zones ticket was brought in.  The next time I do it I will pay by contactless so I expect travel that day to be capped at £6.

I would love to know if anyone has bought an NX Outer Zones - Rugby day ticket on a Wolverhampton, Walsall or Pensnett bus!

According to the NXWM website, NX Outer Zones day is currently £5. This includes Rugby.

Tracking ok but it still only shows the 0736 on the timetable for the WN16.

Currently the WN16 timetable only shows the Dudley schooldays journey from Wombourne at 0736. (Buses are tracking normally though).

Yep. My local 64 route still claims the service is operated by Travel Express even though Diamond have had it since the end of June!

I have noticed recently that the CV 85 service no longer tracks properly and only tracks about 5-10% of all journeys. I'm assuming there is a problem with the timetable on Bustimes.

Bustimes gets its data from a third party so presumably there is the same problem there.

Possibly when the 126 was replaced by the X8/X7 between Wolves and Dudley.

1838 running nearly 20 minutes late on the 34 2145 on the 37 behind running nearly 15 and 1843 is 5 minutes late is there something causing delays on the Darlo Corridor

Accident in Darlaston Road involving car and pedestrian around 1220pm which involved the air ambulance.
