6501 (BU74 YRN) is out for the first time today

I would have thought the vehicle lights (including side markers) along with the saloon lights (when in service) would make them perfectly visible?

Sadly it doesn't. I've witnessed cars going into the side of a bus that we've got at cov because they couldn't see the bus in the dark

No it's not. Cannock are the only ones at the moment having the long variation plus it's got a note on the window screen saying "cannock bus"

795 has transfered to Longton after being on loan at Chaserider

6501 is on its way down to Chaserider to be prepared for service

5202 is now out in service

It was MOTed in July, must have been OK then of wouldn't have passed.

Apparently they took it out for a road test after it's MOT and that's when it went into limp mode

Is there any sign of Wright Streetlite 62  SN64 CVP ever returning to service or is it myth ?

It's back at the engine specialist as it went into limp mode and they couldn't get it out of limp mode. If you check it's MOT it's got a fresh MOT just awaiting the return now

The 0815 departing from SEGRO Park E073 was only carrying fresh air past the airport runway this morning. IMO what a waste of taxpayers money - discuss?

So 2 things. 1 SEGRO are paying us to run the 13 to the park and the 2nd thing is not everything is built up there yet. We have some big loadings when the DHL shift changes start and finish and a couple to JLR. Once everything is built expect the empty loadings to disappear

Is 128, the old D & G Solo a loan? On the 70 today along with 148. Weird allocations for an interurban service

128 is a transfer from what I was told 

For those interested Chaserider currently have ex transpora 5002 on loan until it goes up to D&G 

Was the plan originally funding to upgrade the 74 and 875 to electric buses?

The agreement was in the funding that it would either have to be electric or the newest deisel buses
