Quote from: solonightrider on March 28, 2025, 09:20:20 PMmakes sense then as the 74/828/826 circuit does seem the dumping ground for all the old unreliable knackers. Went on that manky old 2 door e200 bone shaking thing the other Saturday to Stafford, jeez wot a crock that is to put on a  long interurban route! Was a nice [route 60 ]evora on way back tho which was a nice bit of kit :-)
I will admit I wish the evoras came out sooner than what they did as they're suited for most things and so comfy to ride on as a passenger

Quote from: solonightrider on March 27, 2025, 11:22:11 PMNoticed today on one of the FB groups d&g and centrbus have taken delivery of some new e200MMC's so perhaps once they hit their allocted depots that might release some more old solos and e200s for cannock perhaps. Passing through Lichfiled earlier i seen one of the usuall route 36 orange & blue mcv eveloution Volvos on the 828 which seems pretty rare allocation too.
Its not as rare as you think. Mainly now 630 does the 74 & 828 when its out as its knackered. 631 & 632 tend to be the mains on the 36/36A as they are reliable (to a degree)

Timetables are out for the 7&7A. The last 7 from Brownshill will be 19:51 instead of 19:30. Only the 7A will run through countdown to Norman Place Road meaning no buses will run down the 5A section past 8pm

Quote from: Bob on March 25, 2025, 07:39:07 PMThe 3 ended up a 4 bus working today 2x solos, first one broke down, then 144 and a sb180. I thought it was a euro 6 tender but they regularly dont stick to it lol
Only 1 bus brokedown on the 3 which was 182. 144 was sent to the driver of 182 to carry and told to drop his 2nd trip which 166 came out to cover so there was no lost milage. As for 670 on the last trip, that is apart of the running board as the 2 buses switch over. I'd check your facts before posting. Also the 3 & 5 are not euro 6 tenders

Quote from: solonightrider on March 14, 2025, 11:43:59 PMwhats happened to 799 not seen that for ages always seemed quite a nice bus to travel on , they seem to have some problomatic/unreliable vehicles on fleet, shame really as some not are not even that old either, aint there nowt else coming in to replace the broke and withdrawn stuff besides the other couple of Evoras due thats been mentioned prevoiusly.  Thought that 62 was long gone  :undecided:
799 is around still. Its just having an engine replacement and hopefully trying to sort the jalting issue. All the engineers are saying in regards to it is its having a major overhaul so we might see it return having a repaint but unsure if it'll join its sisters up at D&G tho

Quote from: Wba_lad on February 18, 2025, 08:25:23 PMI have to agree with you here. I haven't seen many or actually seen any at all this is probably the first I've saw of a E200MMC anyway.
The only recent ish one I know of is Chaseriders 2 which was put out very quickly by the driver hence it's still in service but that is the only one I know of in a while

What people have been saying is coolant leaked into the electrics but until and if confirmed we won't know for sure
