Surely any service is 'Use it or lose it' irrespective of the number?

The question I have to ask is why?

If its late night shopping related, is there anywhere opening late anyway?

Be very surprised if its Walsall.

Plus you'll get all the p×××heads out & about.

Do you really want more ASB on the buses?

In short, thanks but no thanks.

Can Wmca afford it?

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on November 20, 2024, 12:14:46 PMI know these as my Mate has come back from work and lives in New Invention he asked me what time rhe buses were, I checked Google and told him a 9 is due at quarter past I asked him if the 9 was there as it should have been, he said it wasn't, I checked where it was it had left Rushall 15 minuted late. I then told him the 41 was due at 18 past but he then said he caught it and sure enough he caught the 10:48 that left at 11:02 and there was another one which he said he saw but there wasn't a driver and that was the 09:48. The 11:18 should have been beating Walsall and it wasn't. Bustimes backed up what my mate said and can also tell me and I know as I've been out and live on these routes that the 34, 37 and 39 are all late 39 almost 2 hours Dodgy maths probably due to Roadworks and Snow, and the 37 which 1851 currently is on the 39 was on was also late due to Gridlock in Bentley from J10 to Willenhall so the 529 would be Late to. According to Facebook it is still Gridlocked now.

Not everything has to be a lie it has been snowing @Westy did say the Estates around Bloxwhich were bad, The 9 serves Trevor Road, the 41 Lodge Farm which I know the School there posted they were understanding of pupils being late today as they said Stroud Aveune and the surrounding area was bad.
Just to clarify, I did say the 31/32 must be struggling getting off the estates, not that they were for definete, as I use the stop by Leamore Park, so dont live on the estate, so was relying on Bustimes, to see when the next bus was.

It was merely guesswork & common sense!

On the plus side, my sister's off shift for a few days, so no moaning about waiting for number 9's between Bloxwich & Wednesfield!

(On the minus side, she'll be nagging me about something else though!)

I know its weather related before people start but the first X51 from Cannock is running late, about 15 to 20 mins.

Due at 0636 at my stop, according to Bustimes, not arriving till 0653.

31 & 32 must be struggling getting off the estates as well.

Must admit I was having a brief chat with one of the drivers the other day on the 326, who also do the 57, and they showed me some pics of the Solo they were driving with a couple of windows smashed!

Rotala / Re: Rotala Management - Questions & Answers

Question for both @Simon Dunn & @Tony.

What are your companies respective stances on X / Twitter, considering there is an alleged mass exodus elsewhere to the likes of BlueSky, due to the ownership of X?

I know Nx has a Threads account, dont know about Diamond though.

Quote from: karl724223 on November 15, 2024, 09:29:50 AMCan't she do it for herself ??
In a nutshell, no.

(Ive managed to work out a way for her, during 8 to 4 hours, of getting back from Wednesfield to Bloxwich, not using the Wn 9, involving the 59 to Ashmore, changing to a 69, then changing to a 326 at New Invention back to Bloxwich, at night, but cant seem to do the same going back the other way, especially as you cannot guarantee that 326 at 715am from Bloxwich will run for starters!)

2017 on Wn 9 currently running 15 minutes late on the 630am from Walsall.

(Happened to notice it when coming into Walsall on the first leaving Cannock X51, that it passed us in Hatherton Road, my first thought being 'Has the 655am been sneakily retimed?', because as you know I have to keep an eye on the 9 for my sister, but cross checking Bustimes revealed different!)

If that's right, that's extremely rude on the part of the driver!

Were there issues on the 529 this morning?

Got to Walsall for about 650am this morning & there was a longer queue than normal.

6798 turned up a few minutes later empty(Guess this is the duty that runs dead from the depot around this time?) & loads up.

A few minutes later, I notice we seem to be playing 'tag' with 6764(?).

We get to County Bridge & one woman getting on says she's been waiting 25 mins & she's late for work!

Gets off at Willenhall & the driver says to me along the lines of 'Why are they moaning at me as Im only a couple of minutes late?

(Why tell a random passenger god knows?)

I dont remember Wmpte blue & cream having issues, it's only since the deregulation changes that Ive noticed mismatches, the fleetname stickers over the years being the obvious ones.

National Express West Midlands / Re: Diversions
November 10, 2024, 01:04:31 PM
Not all the Rememberance diversions were online, I noticed yesterday, certainly as regards Bloxwich & Pelsall.

(For the record, the Bloxwich 'track' services were diverting High St, Field Rd, Lichfield Road into Bloxwich that way, with the 32 having to double back along Lichfield Rd, to serve Little Bloxwich & Lower Farm as normal, while Pelsall services were diverted via the Mouse Hill area, with Service 9 having to double back to serve Pelsall Wood)
