Yes I'm sure the average speed of the X1 is 12mph... More nonsense from one of Jeremy Vine's minions... We all know cyclists cause nothing but hazards and delays for buses, lorries and pedestrians. To this day I've not met one who could actually tell me what either Highway Code rules 64 or 71 say, let alone follow them! When you look at the amount of money wasted on these cycle routes which just sit empty, while they still use the road, and the absolute deathtraps waiting to happen that are "floating bus stops", over investing in dedicated busways, faster priority, bus gates and proper public transport interchanges, it's laughable and no wonder we are in this mess.

Quote from: Tony on April 23, 2024, 04:21:07 PMYardley Wood generally lose around 0.5% of mileage due to engineering (breakdowns or No bus available) below the industry average. DVSA expect a minimum of 99% to run
It would be interesting to know the figures specifically for the 49 and 76, as these are the routes the OP mentioned. Yesterday morning according to the tracking there were 3 buses missing on the 76. I know myself from waiting that the 11:26 journey from Q.E. failed to operate. I am also informed that 4609 was broken down at West Heath island earlier tonight.

Yes as I choose not to fill this forum with rubbish! The point is, a customer focussed company like Diamond WM would not block somebody without good reason, they are not a cowboy builder on trustpilot.

They have blocked you then, must've had enough of the complaining.

Having the 002 terminate at Weoley Castle doesn't do it any favours, there aren't many routes left that customers can connect with there than say somewhere like Northfield which has connections going all over. TfWM's Cashpoint is ready to pay out, lets just hope the plan doesn't backfire and the cash doesn't end up going to Rugby by mistake, Miller St will be needing a broadband speed boost!

That's what went out for tender. What actually happens is yet to be confirmed.

Have you reported to bustimes if it can get it fixed so it can track properly?
There wouldn't be much point as it isn't a bustimes issue, LVF has been experiencing the same issue with WM Vehicles since 18:28 yesterday.

I very much doubt it. WMCA are clearly happy to piss away taxpayers money, but I think the costs involved in transporting other vehicles to loan just for a few weeks would raise some eyebrows.

The current fleet will likely be patched up for repair and then put back into service. Then in a couple of years (when those repairs start to fail again), TfWM will announce some 'investment in new fleet vehicles' with more millions of pounds ready to spend on buying new trams, which will be bought 'on the cheap' again, and thus the cycle continues.

Absolutely spot on! We will have this all again too when the new ones currently on delivery finally enter service. I believe CAF are already trying to deflect and are blaming badly maintained rails for some of the cracks with other operators, does make me wonder if that is why suddenly so much money has been spent re-doing Corporation St?!

I thought the bodywork on the B7TLs was a lower height than the Tridents? They definitely look shorter.
Little bit of an optical illusion, the windscreens are higher and they have shorter destination glass than the trident bodied ALX.

A bit like the Claribels 94 drivers who park the buses for lunch and fags, by the toilets at Chelmsley Wood interchange, in excess of 30 minutes, around 12-1:30, blocking the road/unloading for other operators... YJ12 CHH had the honours today. Don't think even NX have 30-40 minute layovers timetabled in!

4581's co-ordinates did not change from one set spot all day, I don't think the TC would have any difficulty in determining that it was not in Essex, or that it was not tracking properly, as for YX17 NYY I think the evidence speaks for itself, unless of course the witness on Facebook just saw a stolen ticketer being driven down Butlers Lane in someone's van?
I'm sure people on here can reach their own conclusions!

As stated @Tony the GPS off ticketer which shows the location passengers board the bus shows he must have been following the correct line of route. Do your trackers show buses logged in as on service whilst they're actually running Dead from/to Perry Barr & yes I saw it myself as you see I was in Sutton Coldfield today.
Now I wonder if you can guess which bus I was on?????

As stated by Tony, eyeballs don't lie, it seems trackers don't either!
