Quote from: cris 99 on November 22, 2024, 08:02:47 PMThe changes have all been posted for Jan 25 and there is no mention of the 77/77A or X15 changing

see from the jan 2025 changes page,
Quote from: Stu on November 22, 2024, 07:56:21 PMAs I mentioned earlier, I'd hold back from making assumptions just yet as I don't believe that TfWM have updated that page fully yet.
its not complete just yet it seems.

Quote from: Westy on November 22, 2024, 07:05:36 AMThat wouldnt be the whole 77 would it, as previous to the last change Nx were operating Sutton to Streetly in the main.
Need to find out which option they were awarded, IIRC it was either the 77/77A/X15 as currently,

or the 675,676,677,677A,X15 from sutton to minworth/erdington/streetly/castle vale/erdington/birmingham

You'll see the two options in the original tender thing on the first message in the jan 2025 changes thread.

Quote from: Stu on November 20, 2024, 08:10:51 PMIt would be interesting to know how old these 'second-hand' electric buses are, how many miles they've already done, and of course how much was paid for them.

And of course most interesting to know would be why their previous operator sold them on!

A brand new electric bus should last most of the day on a full charge. Battery life will degrade over time though.
the one in the photo is ex-CT4N BYD K9UR LJ16 NNB, id presume they are pretty low milage since they were used on the very short east mids airport gateway shuttles, CT4N also have LJ16 NNC but they appear to have kept that one for local services.

they were replaced by brand new yutong E12s earlier in the year and didnt see further use so i presume thats why they were sold.

Quote from: B7RLE on November 16, 2024, 09:46:29 PMI apologise if this is a stupid question but I've heard it mentioned a lot so I'm wondering, what is E334?
ADL E400EV seed vehicle, kinda like a demo but its built for a specific operator in their spec.
Arriva has AR74 ZEB (Currently at leicester)
Stagecoach has SC74 ZEB (Currently at Dunfermline)
First has FB74 ZEB (Currently at Doncaster)
Go Ahead has GA74 ZEB (Not in service yet, but at GSC.)
then now national express should get NX74 ZEB, to be E334.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on November 13, 2024, 09:43:47 AMMight seem a silly question but does Hydrogen stand a risk of Freezing when we get really cold weather do they store it as a liquid which in the most case would be mostly Water or is it like Vodka which again is mostly water but doesn't freeze. Not suggesting Hydrogen is Vodka asking if it has stuff in it like Vodka to not freeze
Hydrogen is stored at temperatures below -250c due to its boiling point being -252c so i doubt cold weather is going to be any sort of issues

Citaro BJ12 YPK seems to have had a run on the 110 this morning, although seemingly it turned around at spaghetti junction instead of heading into the city, presumably to avoid CAZ charges.

WV2009 seems to be constantly tracking at a random cottage near monmouth in wales.
