Does anyone remember the routing of Whittle's Wednesday only X95 service between Bridgnorth and Merry Hill. I am familiar with the routing from Kidderminster to Merry Hill - running by way of Blakedown, Hagley (Forge Garage), Pedmore, Ham Lane, Lye, Thorns Road, etc. to Merry Hill but it is the section of route between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, including which side of the river it ran (Highley or Alveley side)? Thanks

Vehicles posted are correct, often you could see the service vehicle (currently F22 SSE) parked in the coach layby in Droitwich Town Centre, when not on service

Optare solos 30050 and 30051 seem to have an issue with displaying the Stourbridge 88 destination blinds, either displaying S   88 or N    88 depending on the direction. Possibly an issue with the font used. Perhaps you could have this looked into?

Would it not be possible to use something other than vehicle 20178 on the Stourbridge 88 route, understanding the constraints with vehicle length and prescribed number of seats. It is very sad seeing many of the elderly passengers having to struggle up to the raised section of the vehicle due to the extremely low number of level access seats as a result of having all of the luggage racking present within the vehicle. As I'm sure you know, this route has an extremely high proportion of elderly and vulnerable passengers and I believe it is only a matter of time before somebody has a fall through having to climb up to the raised section of the vehicle to get a seat.

Mr Thandi has been route learning the 424 today & has suggested he will be allocating 10.2 mtr e200s like those on the 53 to the service

Claribels have provided a good service on the 424 with well presented vehicles. Will be a shame to see them go

Remember this is the Staffs countryside they serve, not the middle of Brum. Each trip has to stand up on its own two feet.

Looking at it, there is 1 bus doing the Wolves to Brewood shorts with a hour break for lunch at 1330hrs, with the other doing a pair of 877 circulars and the 878 circulars on a Saturday, allowing for connections at Brewood/Coven to Wolves

Makes perfect sense.

This would be the case if the Stafford - Brewood section ran about 20 mins earlier than planned. At the moment it is a 20 odd min connection off the 878 at Brewood towards Stafford and far more off the 878 from Stafford towards Wolverhampton

I see a much more enhanced 877/878 service will be starting on 31st August with the 878 serving Gailey as well as Saturday services beyond Brewood for the first time in a couple of years, with 878's working the quick (main road) way from Gailey to Coven then coming back through the villages to Stafford

The 512 you mention is most likely a school route. They operate a number of Warks school routes in the 5xx series of service numbers

I see the Green Bus have registered two new services

X92 Birmingham Station Street - Ludlow Corve Street

X94 Birmingham Station Street - Carding Mill Valley
