Make the weekday evening A5 leave Wolves 10 minutes earlier than it currently does, at least that's what one of the drivers suggested needs to happen.
It rarely makes it to Amazon on time on weekdays.
Last week I was late for my shift twice because of it.  >:(

45xx Trident on the A5 had a minor collision with the back of a car whilst going onto the Amazon site on Wednesday evening.
It looked like the car only suffered a dent whereas the Trident had some damage to the nearside of the front bumper.
Looked like it left in service back to Wolves too.

I wonder what the folk in Portobello will think of the 40 being withdrawn.
It was they who got it rerouted to serve the estate, after getting in touch with the local MP.
Looks like I'll have to go back to using the dilly-dallying 82 to get back home from Wolves........ yay. -_-

Makes you wonder why they didn't just follow the old low level rail route from Priestfield to the train station.
Then you wouldn't have had the original disruption of digging up the Bilston Road and now Pipers Row.

I've already had enough of the disruption caused by the council's pointless road layout changes in Wolves city centre and now I get to look forward to this >_<

Wasnt you fast enough?
Bingo.
Although expecting speed when you've been assigned to put away bulky/heavy items all day is laughable.

Oh well at least I no longer have to endure a stone cold Trident at the end of my night shift :D

I just don't understand how you can have one timetable that applies to all seven days of the week and seemingly fails to take in account the difference in peak time traffic levels between weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The A5 is regularly late whenever I catch it to Amazon for my night shift, except on Sundays.

Oh well I no longer have to endure it because I've been told that my contract has been terminated -_-

Anyone know what happened to the 6.45am A5 this morning?
We ended up having to wait over an hour to get on the two that brought in the day shift, which usually head straight back to Wolves not in service.
If it was a breakdown that'll be the third one that's directly affected me since I started working at Amazon just over two weeks ago -_-
Reminds me of when I had a temp job at Wolves college and had to endure the frequently overheating Spectras on the 501.

Swift PAYG should still work though, because that is just an equivalent of cash and it will just take the higher fare off the card
That's what I thought.
It'll save me having to find £24 in change each week....... well it will when the employment agency tells me I can start working there.
So much for that instant start/job offer mentioned prominently in the job ad. -_-

Can you use a PAYG Swift card to pay for the fares on the Amazon routes?

Extend the 34 to Wolves from Stowlawn via the rest of Green Lanes and the A41 (i.e. like the good ol' days when the 334 went via the same route back in the mid to late 90s).

Last year there was a driver on the 26A who had a fondness for listening to an assortment of bashment/dancehall tracks when the bus was near enough empty.

Due to Xmas shopping and a dummy run to New Cross, this is my trip from earlier this week:
82 to Wolves
59 to New Cross
59 to Wolves
81 to Merry Hill
241 to Halesowen
9 to Birmingham
X51 to Walsall
34 back home

I wonder if the changes to the 4 are a reaction to the upcoming competition from Arriva's 4 between Wolves and Pendeford.
Or it could be related to the "cancellation" of the 3.

Buses unable to serve Queen St in Wolverhampton this afternoon due to a fire
Turns out it wasn't a fire but an anti-burglar device ???
