Correct.
It's now ran over several days on various routes. I managed to catch it on the 54 today.
Overall nice job inside. Although I'm shocked that after all this time of preparation it's still got adverts for Bristol inside! I'd have thought they would have at least made some references to the fact it's been converted!

I also went on their depot tour today! Very good.. the engineer Hassan is a credit to the company with his knowledge.
My understanding from what he was saying the E400's will stick around longer for the Amazon services, (currently at 4 Amazon buses on both routes due to increased demand) as the routes didn't get on with the electric buses!

Quote from: SSmith09 on October 28, 2024, 09:11:46 PM70102 is believed to be back in Leicester after it's spells in Sheffield, Doncaster then Manchester.
It has been spotted in Haymarket bus station.
Was intended to go on service 4 this morning, but it's not tracking on there, so as yet am unsure if it's tracking as something else or if it's not actually in service yet (just driver familiarisation)?

Yes, still running at the moment. I assume until end of half term? Saw one myself on the shuttle

Yes, you probably are correct E9L..
That's fairly new to market as before the E9 had the middle doors (which is why it hasn't been operated on any other route).

Quote from: Magikrabby on September 12, 2024, 02:29:00 PMCentrebus have posted a picture of the Enviros on Instagram, and stated in the comments that they are intended for the Melton routes

These look quite short? I assume they are shorter than regular?
Perhaps would be good for the 162 route? Was thinking an E100EV would be good for that route when they go electric.

Quote from: Mayfield on August 30, 2024, 03:40:26 PMParked in the naughty boys alley are 769 with O/S/F and front lower panels removed, 902, 621 and 913
578 has disappeared from the alley and maybe in the workshop but can be sure it's this one when viewing from the road
913 has since been in service.. I caught it last Friday in Barrow on 22A (literally almost knocked my head on the mirror being so close to the door!).

All 4 (35189 still in service) are ready for electric.. they should be getting towed there. (Hence engines removed).
Quote from: Mayfield on September 02, 2024, 07:57:52 PM35190 in the yard today with what looks like some rear parts removed
35189 in service no sign of any of the others wondered if they've gone foe conversion
35189 looks like it's remaining in service until the rest come back. (Due to the increased PVR).

Quote from: RobertJ21a on August 31, 2024, 01:48:03 PMI thought the Leicester operators offered various forms of. ' Flex' tickets that cover other operators in the area.
Correct.. they do..
But have you noticed they don't allow Narborough or Enderby into this.. yet they allow a much further away area such as Desford, or Countesthorpe for example.
I think this is more the case the person above was highlighting.
I've asked (but with no luck anywhere)... why there isn't a "county" flexi area (like in Devon). There could easily be one even in a East Midlands area?

Strange allocation of double deckers today! With most on the 88!
Wondering if it's because schools haven't all gone back yet? Or if it's a new thing?
Noticed very few on 54 & 15!

Quote from: SSmith09 on August 22, 2024, 09:26:52 AMThe last time the PVR was this high was around 2008.

Think the PVR is only going up by 1 for now (to allow the extra bus to run the 18/19) then when aircoach finishes that's 4 less buses.
I believe there's an extra 1 on 15 too to make it more reliable.

Quote from: RobertJ21a on August 22, 2024, 07:25:04 AMThe Amazon runs have been using 2 electrics for some time. There's no reason why they can't help out on the city routes during the day if needed.
The EMA contract will, presumably, reduce the PVR by 4 (5 buses allocated) when it finishes shortly..
That's correct, they have been running the electrics on the 2 Amazon services already, although according to the depot it's technically still a diesel route (for now)!

Yes PVR will reduce by 4 once the EMA ends and also when Air coach finishes (end of October) there will be further reduction. However as of this Sunday - it's 92. Due to the service changes. This is the largest PVR they've had for a long time!

Not sure whether the Evora's will be stored or sent elsewhere for winter.

Confirmed by the depot..
There will be 6 electric converted double deckers..
35146, will join the 5 Streetdecks currently at Leicester (which are due to leave in the next few weeks)..
All will be given new number plates, and new fleet numbers - they now start 7**** etc
E400's that remain will leave once program is complete.
From Sunday PVR (including EMA, Amazon & Aircoach) will be 92 buses.
It does mean Amazon will also be using 2 electric double deckers (leaving 22 for main service in Leicester).
