Ventura Park traffic issues have always been a problem in running the 110 service, been removed  to travel on roadway outside before but not generally liked by shoppers carrying bags.
It really needs the entrance / exits improving by the council to speed up the traffic flow.

That Solo is not compliant for Euro 6 be £50 to pay or bigger fine

623 (BK13 NZO) is at Chaserider for body work, I don't believe they will use it in service unfortunately, but the near side by the rear wheel has bad body damage, so is at Chaserider for body repair

Excellent body repair / repaint team at Cannock make good sense to keep repairs " in house"

USB power, has the lightweight highback lazzerini ethos seats cardiff uses, from what ive heard they are rock hard.

Deckers are usually kept on locals if required for repair or maintenance so they can be easy be changed over as a spare become available 

yeah but when 4600 was here it was at least possible to cover the PVR of 10 with all deckers. I just don't get why 9 E400s were ordered when 10 were needed. Maybe the frequency was lower back then but from what I can tell SDs still made it onto there often

When the E400s arrived 4200 stayed also being swopped for the troublesome 4600 ( after party at Derby as it left ) 
When the PVR is for all 10, Saloons have to be substituted to allow routine servicing & MOT preps at times in addition to unscheduled accident or overhaul repairs

Agreed. Gotta remember the stuff they need for the 74's are ex arriva and they didn't look after them like they should of 

It's been nearly 3 yrs since Arriva owned them , surely they have had enough time to get the retained fleet purchased right !

Pretty sure the 19 ran out of Hill Top for Arriva for a short period before Midland took it over when Arriva bought then out !

Be interesting to see if anything is announced about the interim, whilst the takeover is going through. Arriva have sold their operations in other countries and I-squared are used to doing these deals so the lawyers might not need too long to complete the sale.  However, DB surely aren't going to invest in any new buses other than those already on order and I-squared can't be ordering buses either in case the sale falls through. Plus a mention of them buying electric buses presents the infrastructure challenges Arriva had and NX are seeing. So it might be a fair way into the future before any new buses are ordered, let alone delivered. Given the age profile of Arriva's fleet and their recent fleet withdrawal policies, I struggle to see how all the Depots can keep on running as now whilst waiting for new orders. I would argue in the Midlands, Aylesbury (especially given events in September 23), Tamworth, Shrewsbury and Telford are very vulnerable. Potentially depends on the size of existing orders DB has placed, that are part of the deal.

All in all though, a very positive announcement.

What is the event at Aylesbury on Sept 23  that you refer please ?
