Thank you for your input and I agree the gov website is not the clearest will continue to chase this one up and will try to get a clear answer if it's either two separate rules or a choice between the two

Asking this as it confuses me hopefully can gain a better understanding of the GB domestic rules bus drivers must follow.

When you are driving for the max 10 hours a day what should your minimum break length be?

30 mins after 5.5 hours of driving or 1 hour 15 mins in total over the day as you would need at least 45 mins as you are working for more than 8.5 hours and then an extra 30 mins added to the 45 mins too as you would be driving over 7 hours 45 mins which of course can be split into 45 mins and 30 mins and not have to be taken together anyone know the proper ruling on this as it seems to be causing some confusion with my friends thank you

I have also just had an interview and driving assessment and passed that but am little unsure about what happens after you pass your theory are you then told to hand your notice into your current job or can you do the training and adjust your current job to fit around it or would it be best to go onto a zero hour contract at your current job as it would be shame to hand your notice in and then fail the driving test any idea on how this process works thanks
