Slightly confused here. The NX website says the Outer Zone day ticket is £5 & the map shows Rugby, Leamington, Nuneaton, Coleshill, Lichfield, Cannock & Bromsgrove as the out of area locations.

https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/tickets-prices/single-trips-day-tickets

Has the price been reduced from £6 or do the good people of Coventry have to pay more than the rest of the West Midlands to travel outside the nbus area (ie to Rugby)?

Cheers ... Richard

Ah ... just clocked the fact that Rugby is shaded blue, but there is no mention on the NXWM website that there is a price difference, just on the Coventry one

Just seen former Wythenshawe Enviro 300 CX58EVN (2741) on the 786. On bustimes.org it's tracking as 4600

Whilst in Coventry yesterday noted E058 running on the 21 all day. This vehicle was last reported on bustimes.org last year & never actually in service. Similar with E041 which has not been reported working for 3 weeks but was out on the 17A. Of course, it is possible that these vehicles are not running with their allocated ticket machines installed

Hi Tony

The fleet list still doesn't tie up with the photo links you have on your site. I assume that up to 5552 MLH330L is correct as that is what is on the photo. However, the photo of 5559 shows MLH341L which is not on your list & that of 5567 shows MLH355L so they can't have had all of 354-368 unless the registrations weren't in order when allocated fleet numbers

Thanks Tony ... my next full fleet list was 1987 & they'd all gone by then

As an aside ... in your Dennis single deck fleet lists you have the digits in the registrations for 801-805 transposed ... i believe they should be KDZ5801 etc, not KDZ8501

Hi Folks

Could someone please help with matching the vehicle registration plates to the fleet numbers of the DMS's transferred from London around 1979-1980 that became 5500-5530 & 5532-5580. I've a copy of the WM fleet list from summer 1980 & some of the registrations in that don't match to the photo's that Tony has linked on WMBusPhotos. The fleet list does indicate that some of the registration were of vehicles expected to be transferred however this seems to not have been the case. So if someone has a full list that would be most useful

Hi Tony

I notice that your fleet list now has the Streetlites down as being allocated to Perry Barr. Have they moved on from working the 10s & if so, what's replaced them?
