Stop being so f##### selfish... Do as your asked to do and dont take the p### over it.

As someone who is affected by this being my eldest (very healthy) sister (42years old), is currently in a coma and on a ventilator because of this virus, so just stop look at others for once. If you need to go out, get out one day a week and get it all done in one go.

@2206 you said how are you meant to get a weeks shopping home, you then say you self isolate in your car? fill your car up and get everything. I work in a Supermarket and have to put myself and my family in the firing line everyday. And the amount of abuse we get because of these measure is unreal, typical me me me

God forbid you get this virus or someone close does.

Your moaning about a bus service that runs every 20 minutes, not every journey is going to be perfect, road conditions see to that....

I would love to have a bus service every 20 minutes to my stop, neh even every 30 minutes or an hourly service, but no I don't, I have one every 1hour 40minutes. And that is only when the Schools are off and a Saturday, I don't have a sunday service at all. It doesn't run to time at all, big bottle neck mid route, sometimes runs 20plus mins late if I am lucky, can't rely on it for anything important. And when it doesn't show like once last week, (got turned) I have a 3 and a half gap....

Think yourself lucky..

Diamond isn't the greatest operator in the WM, neither are they the worst....

I will believe Tony's word about a bus turning up when it does and doesn't over you. Diamond run late all the time, but because you see them thru rose tinted glasses it doesn't matter.

When the 'Y' Plate are withdrawn (and other early 2000's plates) from NXWM service are they being sold on for further use with other operators or sold on for spares, or used by NXWM for spares before being scrapped?

I only ask as when I lived in Birmingham previously and since with many visits, I have seen the entire fleet up to 14 plates (haven't been up that much since then) so from the prospective of viewing I am not too bothered, but I now do haulage, so if they are being sold for scrap I would like to get them before they leave, if they are moving on to pastures new, I might be able to track them down at a later date.

I shall be moving back to Brum end of Feb begin of March next year, so my main aim is to bash as much of the older stuff before it is removed, not too bothered about the newer stuff straight away as it will be around for sometime (unless it comes a cropper)

Any info would be useful.

They would be better of introducing a 16-25 discount card like with the railways. Or charge a little more more the Railcard itself and have a combined "Young Persons Travelcard" to allow useage on both bus and train.

Just a quick post to say Hi.

I have had a connection with the West Mids for over 20 odd years and a former resident of Kings Heath, moved back down South due to family health issues, however early next year Feb/Mar time I will be moving back up to the area again. Not decided where yet...

Been about 4 years since I last visited the area, however I will back up next week for a couple days for a visit and a catch up on what is new since my last visit. I do majority of my spotting/Haulage in and around London, needing only a hand full of 67 plates and 18 plates for sightings everything up to that I have seen.

I hope I will be able to contribute to this forum in the near future for now I will just be keeping up with things.
