I believe a few are in service already, also see them on test to and from Wolverhampton station regularly, they stop at platform 2 then go back to Oxley I believe.

I was at the University when they introduced the Optare Tempos, as in my final year they transferred our course from Wolverhampton to Walsall campus and the Shuttle was a god send for early morning lectures.

Quote from: karl724223 on July 10, 2024, 05:32:02 PMWhy don't all these idiots that are making claims against driving staff post them under there real name
More too the point why do they insist on airing there complaints on a public forum and not go down the proper channels, I've found when investigating complaints (I must stress not in the transport industy) 9 times out of the the complainee has normally embellished the truth to make it sound worse than it is or plain lied... which is a shame because the stress and anxiety caused by an investigation can be detrimental to a person's mental health, even when they are innocent, it seriously baffles me why some people think it's OK to mess with Someone's livelihood, if a driver lost his job over some of the salacious comments found on here that could be the difference between him paying the mortgage, feeding there kids and being able to get by...

Are the 130 Wright electroliner's a solid order or is it just probable speculation at this time??
#7
From what I was reading in the withdrawn section of the forum alot of people seem to think the 130 Wright Electroliner's have been ordered, however only article I can find online purely speculated this. Would certainly add variety to the fleet if true.

Bit shady trying to get a driver in trouble for a minute... have people got nothing better to do with there time... feel like this and the Simon Dunn Q&A are just becoming grounds to telling tails, getting drivers Into trouble and keeping Diamonds HR and union department busy 'sighs'

If we going to talk about oddities the 126 is pretty unique in being the only Hangley road route not renumbered, it could potentially use the number 26 as I don't believe the number is used in Birmingham or Dudley.

With regards to the 907 becoming X7, does it not overlap with the current nbr 7, where as we as enthusiasts would know the difference not sure Margeret doing her shopping on a Saturday morning would, I know the X7 was used previously as the express 87 that continued to Wolverhampton so could be feasible.

Just out If interest how long does it take to fully charge an electric and does it last a full day or do the buses have to pop off service for a refill, ans could we see top up facilities at terminus's, I remember when Decorcey had a fleet of electric Versas for the P&R and there were charging facilities at Memorial park.

Speaking strictly as an enthusiast I can see it still being a thing, could bring back the circle above the door and then colour co ordinate the red stripe, so for example purple for the 8/X8 would look great. Depends which way NX want to go with it, on the other hand most bus users know what routes they use and tend to stick to the sake routes so is there a need for branding??

Hi, quick question for Drivers or passengers who use the 10A, how do buses turn arround to come back to Wolverhampton in Partingham, from what I can see on Google earth there is either a small pull in by the shops but looks a little tight for an eclipse or in the mouth of the road near the Pigot arms, bit random but saves a trip to find out, thank you muchly for your replies in advance 😉

Tbf makes more sense as at S&D can swap for the fast Avanti services, I know it can be argued that Can do this at Birmingham NS or wolves but same platform at S&D, still feels mad can get a train from there too Edinburgh
