Going back to the running day, I note the majority of the Lichfield journeys are being operated by the 'guest' vehicles.

Would I be correct in thinking the short Aldridge journeys would be operated by standard low floor vehicles, to maintain easy access facilities on that route, as the Routemasters are not easy access?

The only vehicle that isn't easy access is the RML. The journeys allocated to the RML will have a duplicate vehicle to ensure DDA standards are maintained.

Struggle to see how the 142 makes any money. They messed up the timetables so now no one uses it in peak times, and it could easily go round hasbury in 30 mins. Diamonds days guaranteed full bus on the morning and evening journey. Shame they didn't keep a peak only 142 service similar to the 108. Seems that tbe halesowne- QE section can't cope with e200s on the 244. There's got to be opportunities there for it to work some way.
The 142 is a tendered (TFWM) service

I believe after not winning the tender (NX did) They have registered it commercially
To clarify, no journeys have been reregistered commercially on the 142

Yeah could it be put up for tender???
The 142 is currently out to tender by TFWM based on the current hourly frequency

If you can provide us with details supporting early operation of service, we will investigate this.

I can confirm that this serious incident was non-fault on Central Buses' part and involved four vehicles.

91 service & from  June 5  S1

Not correct.

This week two AM and PM journeys are standalone off an inspection run-back, with the other journey sitting in front of 88.

From next week, the AM journeys will sit in front of 61, 88 and S1 respectively and the PM journeys behind S1 and 42.

The board on service 91 operates 75 peak extras.

Have Central Buses got any additional buses due for their increased work commitments?

We have procured an Optare Versa.

Most businesses usually have a Major Incident Plan or similar for deployment in emergency situations.

Shows you the last time I looked at that timetable!

It has never been as little as 1 journey in each direction though.

Hate to think how much thats going to cost me if I did Walsall to Burton for the day?

Or would it be simpler using the train via New Street?

It would cost you £4.90.

It's because Central Buses are secretly financed/bankrolled by Julian Peddle the big cheese in charge of D&G Bus that's why this has happened & before anyone asks how I know I'm not at liberty to say but I know it's true

Hi Will,

There is no connection with D&G Bus other than a combined insurance group. I would politely remind you about the consequences of publically posting inaccurate or disparaging comments about businesses you have no connection with.
