Central buses hasn't traded for nearly half a year so any experience you had on the route back then is irrelevant now anyway. What kind of operator keeps things "status quo" allocations wise when the needs of their services and customers are constantly changing?! It's obvious that a bus enthusiast knows how to operate a bus company more than some like @andy41 whom is employed and has experience of running a company.

No I don't allocate the buses, the Traffic Office Supervisors do that.

On Friday we had an imbalance of small vehicles off the road for routine maintenance so not all services could keep their usual allocation. There are lots of reasons why allocations can vary, the main objective is to achieve a full service with the vehicles available.

The 125 was an assessment to see how those vehicles would perform. The condition of the roads on the route currently doesn't lend itself to the Metrocities very well, plus there are some overcrowding issues.

"Overcrowding" that's funny there was never any of that when Central Buses were operating it (except on Saturdays when Bridgnorth has its market day) and even if there was the Metrocitys were used regardless as the former Central Buses operations manager YOU should know all this!

They were allocated elsewhere so that larger capacity vehicles could run the 125.

Who's brain dead idea was that then those Metrocity's were originally bought by Central Buses exclusively for the 125 therefore they should be kept on that route!

Well Diamond let NX staff (regardless of whether they're drivers or not) on there buses so it works both ways bud

A bit like a certain person who worked at diamond in full uniform claiming to be a driver for a free ride now not at diamond  maybe arriva and still not a driver

Just noted 30500 broken down in Bromsgrove bus station , problem with the coolant - or lack of it - as most was on the roadway.  Y48ABA was the only d/d on Kidderminster depot earlier this afternoon.  ;)

Ahh! so that would of been the bus that went past the train station at around 20:30 - Not in Service just as I got off the train followed not far behind by the Kidderminster Engineering Van!

Yes I was talking to a Telford driver this afternoon he told me that all of the deckers that operate in Telford currently will soon be departing he didn't know where they'll be going too or whether they'll be disposed of all together / being reallocated to other depots etc

Did he say if this would mean a couple of Solos will move over alongside the operation?

No - although I do believe the reason for these routes being moved back to Telford is because of the 10 (Wolverhampton to Telford) being scrapped thus freeing up buses which are currently used on that route
