I think if a stop has been suspended for a year this goes without saying. I was mostly talking about trivial bus stop suspensions like a week-long one due to nearby road maintenance

A bus stop suspension means do not stop there regardless of length of suspension or if people choose to ignore the big yellow signs and stand there as it causes a danger to other road users or causes an obstruction

I understand they make mistakes and they have to learn but you do have to consider the passenger POV too and how frustrating it may be to wait an hour at a bus stop where it should come only for it to not turn up.

What mistake?

Looks like the driver has been instructed by the garage to run dead to Solihull to pick up service, due to an unknown reason. It never left Coventry until 45 minutes after it should have departed.

Looks peaceful enough as everything is slowly moving, but really silly nothing is being diverted delaying people and putting vehicles and drives and passengers at risk by going through something that could turn very nasty.

1871 on the 28 turned around at the Fox and Goose at 19:23 on bus times, wasn't running late so hopefully been cut short for drivers and passengers safety  

If you're going to continue to grass on drivers, at least post it in the right thread....

Or better still do it through official channels not an enthusiast forum. The constant complaints from a few members are getting boring now, and publicly stating them is quite inappropriate

Age is irrelevant. If the damage is too severe to be repaired then a vehicle will be written off regardless of age. Not referring to E062 here but in general 

From the photos and videos I have seen, the road won't be open anytime soon. The 74s will be on diversion untill at least tomorrow morning. From what I have read there have been four deaths. Some car came speeding down on the wrong side of the road, then hit a car and then multiple cars. Police are now investigating this incident. There is around 5 cars involved maybe more.

Does this affect routes in Kingstanding, I'm sure the 997 runs near or down Shady Lane

Shouldn't have affected the 997 or any other route as that factory is on the far end of Shade Lane after the 997 turns off onto Oscott School Lane. No buses use the top end of Shady Lane

It seems to be a regular problem lately.

At the time of writing according to Bustimes, the 1455 from Bloxwich has arrived in Bilston several minutes late & is sitting in the Bus Station, instead of coming straight out to run the late 1536 to Bloxwich.

I suspect, as this has also happened recently, this bus will become the 1610 to Bloxwich instead.

Is the driver actually taking a break at this point, or is there an actual problem with the bus?

Edit : Bus stuck in Bilston BS now disappeared from Bustimes.

Looks like all 326's are running late!

I would rather the driver have a break and be rested ready to start the next trip late than rush round and possibly have an accident because they have been driving for too long without any sort of break, however frustrating it might be
