Quote from: Bob on December 12, 2023, 10:52:57 AMProb a decent spec if ex cardiffIt will be. I live just over the mountain from Cardiff. Incidentally they took two.
Quote from: j789 on December 10, 2023, 10:15:15 PMAnd hopefully no Labour Mayor here - Andy Street has done a fair job in the grand scheme of things, dealing with the Covid period, etc. As long as there aren't any more global pandemics or similar, passenger numbers will increase next year and hopefully support operators to start being proactive again with new routes.Agreed, given who runs-allegedly-the City Council in Birmingham. And on Mr Photo Op-as I call Burnham-he has no functioning brain.
Andy Burnham to realise that money does not grow on trees, and the Bee livery has to be rebranded as 'U' instead (standing for unmitigated tax payer disaster!)
Quote from: Pat on February 15, 2021, 11:25:47 PM*BlackwoodYou missed Merthyr off it.
Cwmbran sort of is and sort of isn't. You can drive straight off the stand, if there isn't a bus on the stand in front.
Quote from: Bob on November 22, 2023, 06:31:16 PM🤣🤣🤣🤣...and robbing....
Im imagining the little ba#tards mums probably had them at 11, never worked in their lives , and the dads are probably living with em but claiming seperately, probably on fake mental health saying they cant go out the house except for drug dealing 🤣🤣🤣
Quote from: Rachvince53 on November 23, 2023, 12:47:44 PMSaw a Wright Eclipse 2 bus today in NX grey but with a fleetnumber 702 on the back. Not 2002 as that has a red stripe but this one didn't. Heading down Penn Road out of service around 9.00am.It's for Oxford Bus.
Any ideas?
Quote from: ellspurs on November 09, 2023, 10:34:03 PMhttps://www.route-one.net/news/stagecoach-west-unveils-poppy-liveried-oxford-tube-coach/ <-- it weren't that one, so it must've been one of the other transfers. I'm off work until Wednesday and I only go into Oxford on a Tuesday so I may not get to see it if they rewrap it after the weekend.Try Scania 15989.
Which brings me onto... the branding down in Oxford for Stagecoach (and Oxford Bus Company) is a complete mess.
I've seen "Coastliner 700" branding amongst the many, many different stages of Stagecoach livery (in various states of distress) as well as some High Wycombe branded buses (on the 11x for OBC).
Quote from: ellspurs on November 09, 2023, 11:13:50 AMThey have got a bus fully wrapped in a Royal British Legion decal as well. I think I saw it around Oxford last week. A number of the buses there also had poppies on the front of their buses. That will be one of the ex South Scanias or,possibly,be 50452-one of the recently transferred coaches for the Oxford Tube.
Quote from: Tony on November 07, 2023, 12:16:09 PMAs at 7/11/23By my reckoning that makes all the 11reg Coventry examples have been through Walsall for a repaint in either the two tone blue or the grey livery.

Quote from: ellspurs on November 05, 2023, 03:40:38 PMThe 37 was the first to get those low-floor N-reg buses (the ones that knelt but still had two steps to get in there with). Was that when they were made single-decker?From memory Walsall had them first on the 311/3.
They were followed the next year by the truly low-floor P-reg buses, which the first lot I think were on the 529? The low-floor double deckers began in the R-reg batch with a load of S-reg ones coming after.
Quote from: Rachvince53 on October 27, 2023, 09:20:35 PMI remember the short Excels as they were based at my local Wolverhampton garage. They were numbered 401- 430 (with gaps) I think. Wolverhampton also had the longer length examples as well which were new to WMT.401 to 422,no gaps.
Quote from: Ronnoc on October 30, 2023, 04:19:13 PMStagecoach lost an E400 quite recently in Kent as well. Quite concerning.19662 in Sussex.
