What a messed up allocation. Currently on 4429 on PN 9 and has the B7RLE earlier. Makes a change from the crap mmcs though. Haven't seen a streetdecks???

Edit just seen one streetdeck

4429 wasn't allocated to the 9, it was returned to the garage this morning while it was on the 129. It then replaced a broken down bus on the 9. I mean why bother replacing the bus, in future if a bus breaks down we'll just leave the service without a bus.

There were 3 streetdecks on the 9 3305, 3302 & 3303.

We were struggling for buses this morning which is the explanation for the 'messed up allocation'

It's suspended again now.

All Pensnett services continued to run through the night, 244 wasn't serving Wisley Way and Rilstone Road. Everything else ran. Buses started leaving the garage shortly after 6am yesterday morning.

@Trident 4194

One of the buses you saw running private around 10am may well have been a driver on a 4 day duty, who may have been running late. One of the duties first portions totals 4:48hr therefore continuing in service whilst being late could push beyond 5:30hr meaning the bus would have to be parked thus meaning the service is disrupted further. Further to this, the driver who becomes 'RTA'd' would then have to run their vehicle to the relief point then take over their next vehicle, meaning both vehicles would have to be adjusted.

Before commenting, I would suggest that you seek advice from other members on the site. Many of the members on this site could give you a real insight into the running of a bus service, running a garage, adjusting services or even driving a bus and getting stuck in traffic. I suggest that you learn from people in the business rather than looking in from the outside.

I think allocation there is a joke to be honest. 2091 I believe is the Volvo on PN9. According to my calculations should have departed Stourbridge around 16:00. Busiest time of the day for buses leaving Stourbridge with college students. 4442 is one trident on there. Ever since they insisted on Using mmcs on the 241/140 things have gone to shît in my opinion.

There's only one joke around Pensnett services......

Yes, 4425 replaced 3302 on the 9 running board, and the other was one trip to keep the service running. So 4425 was not on there along with, it is on there instead of

6117 was on there this morning too. One of the drivers took the wrong bus  :o

Problem is, if people like the drivers and Inspectors aren't sure of the boundary, then how are the passengers supposed to be.

Having a fare zone inside a much bigger zone will always create problems unless somebody actually goes to the trouble of looking at every route that crosses the boundary and produces a list of the final/first stops that the ticket is valid from.

Cut off on the 120 is the same place as the black country pass. The drivers do know and the ticket can't be issued beyond this point

very doubtful it was 4195 it's not on the road

4195 is withdrawn, 758 was a replacement and the actual 41## trident you saw was a one of a kind trident

Unsure what the crimson trident displaying 9 Stourbridge was doing parked on the hill out of Halesowen. 4H direction

Perhaps it was replacing another vehicle and was waiting it's time there because there was nowhere to park in the bus station....
